Makeup Revolution Ultra Blush Pallette in Sugar and Spice

Makeup Revolution feels like a must-show brand for any drugstore now, and if it’s just not there in the make-up aisle, it feels like something is missing. If you haven’t tried the brand already, then I can tell you that you really could be missing something crucial from your life.

Makeup Revolution Ultra Blush Pallette in Sugar and Spice

Its products are cheap, pallettes cost a few quid, barely the price of lunch at Starbucks. Honestly, I’m impressed by the quality and abundance of products available. I only own two pallettes so far but can see a good future ahead and excited to buy more!

BALANCE ME CLEANSE AND SMOOTH FACE BALM sample review

Another bit of a quiet spell from me! Apologies, I’ve just moved into a new flat with my boyfriend  and have been working on buying bits and bobs for it, and waiting for internet to get set up. So that will be a nice post for another day!

For now, I wanted to talk about a sample I received a while ago and wanted to try after moving. As it’s just the two of us in the flat,we’ll be saving some money on rent and bills by paying together SO OBVIOUSLY that means I can afford to try more expensive skincare right?! So with the Balance Me Cleanse And Smooth Face Balm, I just thought that if I liked it enough, I could buy the entire product.

This Week in Nail Polish: Purple pyramids

Sorry this post is soooo late! I’ve been busy recently, got my first graduate job as a production editor and then I went to go look at rooms to move back down to Bournemouth! I felt like using some colours and messing around with some shapes before going down to look at houses. I was really in the mood for purple and something creative but not glaring so this is what I came up with!

Skincare Post #12 Good Things Miracle Mattifier Moisturiser and Good Things Total Wipeout Cleansing Wipes

My student loans have almost dried up so I’m trying to find cheaper alternatives to La Roche-Posay. I spotted the Good Things range in my local Boots but to be honest, now that I’m 21 I’m unsure of whether I can still pull off using products aimed at ‘young skin’. I guess not…but the promise of ‘superfruits’ made it hard to not try.

So the Miracle Mattifier Moisturiser, by now you will know about my gripes about my oily/combination skin and my fears of using a day moisturiser too creamy. I picked the Miracle Mattifier out because it promised hydration whilst being matte and absorbing excess oil from the skin. It’s also made from natural ingredients (but what isn’t nowadays…) of blackcurrant and goji berry.

I thought I would try the Total Wipeout Cleansing Wipes which are made using other ‘superfruits’, raspberry and cranberry extracts.
